New New Doctor?

So I have, partially, watched the new episode of Series 5 Doctor Who, introducing Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor. I say partially because I have not, in fact, watch all of it as Parts 4 and 5 were missing. So I've seen the beginning and I've seen the end, and I like what I've seen. I think, like most I was (and still am a bit) apprehensive of Smith, because I am so accustom to Tennant. But I can say that over the past months I've gotten over the fact that DT is not coming back and have gotten rather excited for this new Series. The episode in question, The Eleventh Hour, aired yesterday in the UK but isn't set to air here in the US till the 17th, and let's face it, I can't wait that long. The bits I got to watch were good, I do have to say though that I think that the budget for graphics must have been cut because they weren't that great. The music on the other hand was fantastic as usual, so I'll be happy when that's available on iTunes. I don't know if I like the new intro a whole lot, but that doesn't matter much. Also, I think I might need to warm up to Amy, she bothers me for some reason right now and what's up with that new sonic screwdriver?? And just a spoiler warning (not that anyone even reads this blog or cares much about Doctor Who): I'm gonna tell ya my favorite bits of what I got to see.

The bit in the beginning where Amelia (Amy) is trying to find something for the Doctor to eat, but he ends up spitting everything out. "You're Scottish, fry something."

Also, before that; "You're soaking wet." "I was in the swimming pool." "You said you were in the library." "So was the swimming pool."

The bit where the Doctor is handcuffed to the radiator and he tells Amy "Stay away from that door" and "Don't open that door" and she does it anyway and he says "Why does no one ever listen to me!? Do I just have a face that nobody listens to, again!?"

"Silver thing, blue at the end where did it go?!"

The bit near the end with the Atraxi and the holograms. Especially with the images of the past Doctors and when DT's face at the end and then Matt walks through the hologram. :]

Plus the music during this part is AWHESHOME!!!

And at the end where Amy remarks that he kept the clothes and then says "Even the bow tie"

and the Doctor responds "Yeah, it's cool, bow ties are cool." :]

I think the episode will be better once I've watch the whole thing start to finish. But never the less, I'm kinda excited!!!1!! I can't wait for the weeping angels to come back!!

Plus I love this clip hereeeee!

And I want more of this! I get chills.
